African Desert Rose-Even in the driest of situation, toughest of places, there is life. What comes to mind when you the reader hear of Africa?
What comes from Africa? Africa isn’t completely predictable to many, but to a few who think they know what it entails. Well, from the tropical rainforest to the desert, small village to the huge cities, beautiful warm coastal land to the thick cool mountains. Your idea of it may surprise you. What about the people? Kenya for instance is known for it long distance runners, the most natural and cultural Maasai, the hunger stricken Northern Kenya and refugee camps, and lately the ongoing ICC cases at the Hague. Not forgetting one the great wonders right here with us…the Maasai Mara. But is that all there is to it? Anyway whatever your idea of it is, read on and stay with me as I blog and it could enlighten the both of us, open our eyes to something totally beyond our thinking.
Isaiah 41:17-19 This is what the Lord says He will do. “He will help those who are thirsty, He will make springs in the valley, and streams in the bare hilltops, He will cause dry cracked ground into flowing springs, He will make trees grow in the desert.=The outcome of it v.20. People will see and know that the Lord’s hand is powerful”
Roses thrive in the harshest of conditions. Why is that so? God works in mysterious ways.
